About the Artist
After searching many years for a creative outlet using my hands, I discovered the world and beauty of decorative finishes. It was love at first sight! I finally found what I had been searching for and I have not looked back since. Using my hands in creating beautiful finishes is a thrill that has not waned since the beginning of my decorative arts business in 2002. My professional career began studying with Master Faux Artisan Martin Alan Hirsch of Decorative Finishes Studio in Louisville, Kentucky, and then receiving my Faux Effects® certification in 2004. Believing that continuing education is of the utmost importance, I schedule classes yearly to keep up with current trends, new products and techniques. I have recently studied with master artisans Deb Drager, Gary Lord, Mike MacNeil, & Krista Vind. With education in many areas of the decorative arts, I offer a full spectrum of techniques and products specializing in stone, troweled finishes, and custom art pieces. I am a proud member of the Sisters Hands Decorative Artists Consortium, Stencil Artisans League-Atrium Chapter, International Directory of Decorative Painters. Serving the Atlanta - North Georgia area, I also travel for projects.
